Ravi Parmar FCA, Partner
Married with two children, Ravi was born and educated in Nairobi, Kenya. He trained with a medium sized firm, subsequently qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick (now KPMG). For relaxation he enjoys swimming and going to the gym.
Stephen Ufland FCA, Partner
Educated at City of London School, Stephen trained with a medium sized firm, and joined Beechams two years after qualifying. Married with three children, his principal hobbies are reading, photography, music and all sports particularly soccer and cricket where he is a Tottenham Hotspur and Warwickshire County Cricket Club supporter respectively.
Both Ravi and Stephen bring their strong audit and accountancy, taxation and business management skills to their clients, ranging from small start-ups to large companies.
They always try to adopt a big picture approach, while maintaining an eye for the details. This combination provides a unique perspective to the benefit of their clients. Whether working with individual or corporate clients, Ravi and Stephen strive to provide the highest level of service in a professional and friendly manner.
Laurence Deyong, Director of Outsourcing Services
Educated at Marylebone Grammar School, Laurence joined Beechams in 1973. During the 1980's, he obtained industry experience by working for an independent record label company, where he managed an artist, and subsequently as a Financial Controller for an American fashion house. He rejoined Beechams in 1990. Lawrence is an MCC member, plays golf, enjoys gastronomic delights and fine wines, bridge, music and films.
Mark Weston, Employment Compliance Director
Born in Essex and educated in London, Mark joined Beechams in 1986 and has worked in the payroll department for over a decade. Mark is also a qualified bookkeeper. His hobbies include reading, music, cinema and all sports, especially football where he is an avid West Ham fan.
Jayesh Chauhan BSc(Hons), CTA - Tax Director
Jayesh was educated at Battersea Grammar School, London and studied Physics & Electronics at Brunel University. He qualified in 1994 and spent the majority of his career at a couple of top 20 firms before joining Beechams in early 2005 as Tax Director. Jayesh is a keen footballer (still tries to play on Sundays!) and also keeps fit running after his two young sons (and wife!).
Padmeenee Hurdowar BSc. (Hons), ACCA – Accounts/Audit manager
Padmeenee joined Beechams in 1999. Born in Mauritius, she has a degree in accounting and qualified as member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts in 2002. Before joining Beechams, she has worked both overseas and the UK. Her experiences include working for big firms (Price Waterhouse –Mauritius), Local Government and Belgo Group PLC. Padmeenee is married and her interests and hobbies include cooking for friends, reading, gardening, watching TV and practising her French speaking skills.
